Avoid having your translations done elsewhere only to discover that they aren’t accepted by the relevant authority!

MLT Translation Centre is the only fully accredited translation agency in the South Island and is one of just six offices nationwide authorised to provide translations for the New Zealand Immigration Service, NZQA (New Zealand Qualifications Authority) and the New Zealand Citizenship Office.

We use only the best native speakers of English, with tertiary level qualifications in your preferred language, to translate your documents. They have years of experience and in-depth subject knowledge, so you will gain maximum benefit.

A few points you should remember when requesting a translation to English:

• We prefer to translate from original documents but we can translate from photocopies, faxes or scans of documents however this will be noted on the translations.
• We will provide you with a price before we commence the translation. This must be paid in full before we can release the completed documents.
• Under normal circumstances your translation will take up to one business week to complete. We also offer an 'express service' - please enquire for exact charges.
• Your electronic translation files will be written to CD and archived in our storage system. You will be supplied with a client code number for future reference. For your own confidentiality no hard copies are kept once the translation is completed.

Charges for the New Zealand Immigration Service, the New Zealand Citizenship Office, NZQA, Land Transport NZ etc:

• birth, marriage, police clearance etc $50.00, driver's licences $45.00.
• all other documents as quoted
• additional certified master copies at time of order - $5.00
• copies at a later date - $15.00 (first), $5.00 (additional)

Please note: Confirmation of translation charges is given prior to commencement. Charges are inclusive of GST (goods and services tax) and full payment is due on receipt.
